SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. An encrypted connection is recognizable by the address line of the browser changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us in general cannot be read by third parties.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. There is only one case in which a cookie can be set optionally at your own request. See the following section on “Matomo”.

Anonymous Usage Analysis by Means of Matomo

This website uses the open source web analysis software Matomo. In contrast to many other analytics products, the software is operated by the controllers themselves, on servers located in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Our Matomo installation respects “Do-not-track” HTTP headers (“DNT”) of web browsers. The DNT is intended to inform website operators in advance if no usage analysis is wanted. You can set the DNT use yourself in most current web browsers or it is already preset.

If DNT is active, your visit is not included in the usage data collection from the outset. The box below may already show you whether DNT is active in your browser.

If DNT is not active, Matomo records your visit without using cookies and anonymized. Anonymization means that during data collection, the last two IP blocks before storage are set to 0, which means that the usage data can no longer be traced back to the person. Furthermore, such data is also automatically deleted after 12 months at the latest.

The basis for such data processing is Art. 6 sec. 1 f GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in analyzing the range and type of use of our website.

You may deactivate such anonymized collection of usage data. If DNT has not already prevented data collection, a selection field will open in the box below for you to inform the website of your decision. In that case, an opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser to document this decision. If you delete the cookies, the Matomo opt-out cookie will be deleted too. The opt-out must be reactivated when you visit the website again.
